Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Forex Vitals ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you access or use the Forex Vitals website, the Market Dashboard, and any related tools or services (collectively, the "Service").
This Policy is for general informational purposes and is not legal advice. You should consult your own legal counsel for requirements specific to your situation or jurisdiction.
1. Information We May Collect
We may collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:
- Contact Information: If you use the contact form or otherwise reach out to us, we may collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used (including the Dashboard), time spent, and basic interaction logs.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, approximate location based on IP, and similar technical details provided by your browser or device.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: Small data files or similar technologies that help us remember your preferences and understand how the Service is used.
- Marketing and Affiliate Data: Where enabled, Meta Pixel may collect or receive technical data and information about visits or actions on the Service to help us measure outreach campaigns. If you follow a disclosed affiliate link, the destination provider may receive a referral identifier and related technical information needed to attribute the referral.
- Push Notification Data: If you choose to enable market alerts, we store an anonymous browser push endpoint, the technical keys needed to deliver notifications, your selected alert preferences, and basic browser information. You do not need to create an account to use this feature.
- Form & Security Data: Information provided through security tools (for example, Google reCAPTCHA) used to detect spam or abuse.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect for purposes including:
- Providing, operating, and maintaining the Service;
- Improving and refining the Dashboard analytics and features;
- Delivering the market alerts you choose to receive;
- Responding to inquiries or support requests you submit via the contact form;
- Monitoring usage, performance, and stability of the Service;
- Detecting, preventing, and addressing technical issues, abuse, or security threats;
- Measuring outreach campaigns and affiliate referrals where those features are used;
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Use.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)
Depending on your jurisdiction, our processing of personal data may be based on:
- Consent: for example, when you choose to submit a contact form;
- Legitimate interests: such as maintaining and improving the Service, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregated usage;
- Legal obligations: where we are required to retain or disclose certain information.
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Remember preferences or settings between visits;
- Measure usage patterns and help us understand how users interact with the Service;
- Support security features and prevent abuse;
- Support optional analytics, Meta Pixel measurement, and affiliate referral tracking where enabled.
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect the functionality of some parts of the Service.
Forex Vitals provides a cookie preference tool that lets you accept all optional cookies, keep only essential storage, or choose analytics and marketing categories separately. These choices control optional analytics storage and whether optional marketing measurement such as Meta Pixel is enabled. Privacy-reduced analytics signals may still operate where supported when analytics storage is declined. You can reopen these choices from the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
5. Analytics & Aggregated Data
We may use analytics tools to better understand how the Service is used. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, device information, and interactions with the Service.
Where our cookie preference tool is available, Google Analytics 4 may operate in consent mode. If analytics consent is declined, analytics storage remains denied and Google Analytics receives only privacy-reduced signals where available. We may also use aggregate first-party operational analytics, such as page and tool counts, without setting analytics cookies or assigning visitor IDs.
We may aggregate and anonymize data so that it no longer identifies you. Aggregated data may be used to analyze trends, improve features, and communicate general usage patterns. Aggregated data is not considered personal information.
5A. Widget Privacy
Forex Vitals website embeds and signature badge endpoints are designed to be privacy-friendly for publishers and their visitors. The embed routes do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, push-notification prompts, cookie-preference scripts, or the normal sitewide marketing JavaScript. They do not set non-essential cookies and do not use local storage.
Aggregate widget and badge requests may be logged for security, uptime, installation measurement, and product-adoption reporting. This may include the embedding page's referrer when a browser or forum proxy sends it, basic request details such as IP address and user agent in ordinary server logs, the widget or badge type requested, and aggregate events such as copied embed code or widget-link clicks. We do not require usernames, account IDs, or personal identifiers in widget or badge URLs.
Current widget embeds do not ask visitors for account balances, account currency, trade size, or instrument details. Any future calculator embed should disclose its assumptions before it is offered for publisher use.
6. Marketing Measurement, Promotions, and Affiliate Links
Forex Vitals does not use Google AdSense or automated display-ad networks. The Service may still show promotional banners and links to third-party offers, including affiliate links.
Where enabled and permitted, we may use Meta Pixel to understand visits or actions associated with our outreach campaigns. Meta may receive technical and interaction data through the pixel and process that information under its own privacy terms. The marketing choice in our cookie preference tool controls whether this optional measurement is enabled where the tool is available.
If you follow an affiliate or promotional link, the destination merchant or affiliate program may use cookies or referral identifiers to attribute a purchase or other qualifying action. Forex Vitals may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
7. Contact Form & Communications
When you submit a message via the contact form, we use the information you provide (such as your name, email address, and message content) to respond to your request and manage our communications with you.
We may retain correspondence and related information as reasonably necessary for record-keeping, legal, and operational purposes.
8. Security & Spam Protection (reCAPTCHA)
To help protect the Service and reduce spam or automated abuse, we may use security mechanisms such as Google reCAPTCHA on forms. These tools may collect certain technical and usage information as part of their operation.
Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the applicable provider's own terms and privacy policy, in addition to this Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party providers that help operate, maintain, or improve the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, email delivery). These providers are permitted to use the information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.
- Marketing and Affiliate Providers: Where enabled, Meta may receive technical and interaction data through Meta Pixel. If you follow a affiliate or promotional link, the destination merchant or affiliate program may receive information needed to attribute the referral.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or other change of control, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete it or anonymize it so that it no longer identifies you.
11. International Transfers
Depending on your location and our infrastructure, your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. Where required by law, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
12. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which can include:
- The right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data;
- The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- The right to request deletion of your data, subject to certain exceptions;
- The right to object to or restrict certain types of processing;
- The right to data portability, where applicable;
- The right to withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any rights that may apply to you, please contact us using the details on the Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.
You can disable push notifications from the Dashboard's alert settings panel or your browser or device settings at any time.
You can manage cookies through your browser and, where available, use our cookie preference tool to control optional analytics and Meta Pixel measurement.
13. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own policies and terms.
14. Affiliate Disclosure
Some Forex Vitals pages, promotional banners, and comparison resources contain affiliate links. These programs may allow us to earn commissions on products purchased through our links at no additional cost to you. The site-wide affiliate promotion bar is labeled as an affiliate promotion.
Amazon Associates Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, Forex Vitals earns from qualifying purchases. When you click on a link to Amazon from our Service and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
An affiliate merchant or program may use cookies or referral identifiers after you follow an affiliate link so it can credit us for the referral. The third party's own privacy and cookie terms apply on the destination service.
15. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected information from a child in violation of applicable law, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete such information.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
